Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026This Privacy Policy explains how PageHatch ("PageHatch", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the PageHatch web application, website, and related services (the "Service"). It also describes how we handle data we receive from Google APIs. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information: your name, email address, profile image, authentication identifiers, and account preferences when you sign in or create an account.
- Project and content information: the website URLs you analyze, generated and edited page content, templates, themes, domain settings, and publishing history you create in PageHatch.
- Communications: messages you send to our support address and any information you include in them.
Information collected automatically
- Usage information: features used, pages published, plan and quota usage, and interactions with the Service.
- Technical and log information: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring pages, request timestamps, and error diagnostics needed to operate and secure the Service.
Information from connected third-party services
- Google Search Console data: if you connect Google Search Console, we access the search performance data (for example clicks, impressions, queries, and pages) and the properties you explicitly authorize through Google OAuth. Access is read-only, and we only request the scopes needed to sign you in and display your search performance.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- create and maintain your account and authenticate you;
- analyze websites, generate draft page content, and let you review and edit it;
- publish pages to your PageHatch subdomain or your own custom domain;
- display search performance from Google Search Console inside PageHatch;
- enforce plan limits, prevent abuse and fraud, and keep the Service secure;
- troubleshoot problems, provide support, and improve the product; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use Google user data for advertising, resale, or unrelated profiling.
3. Google user data and Google API Services
PageHatch's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- We request only the Google OAuth scopes required for the features you enable:
openid,email, and read-only access to Google Search Console (webmasters.readonly). - We use Google user data solely to provide and improve the features you request — signing you in and displaying your Search Console performance inside PageHatch.
- We do not use Google user data to serve advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties.
- We do not allow humans to read your Google user data unless you give us permission, it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, to comply with applicable law, or for our internal operations that are part of providing the Service.
- We do not use Google user data to train generalized or third-party AI models.
- You can revoke PageHatch's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page, or disconnect Search Console from within PageHatch.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser local storage that are necessary to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and operate the Service securely. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser, but some features such as staying signed in will stop working.
5. How we share information
We share information only as described below:
- Service providers: vendors that help us run the Service, such as cloud hosting, content delivery, database, object storage, authentication, email, and AI text-generation providers. They receive only the information needed to perform their service and are bound by contractual obligations.

- With your direction: when you ask us to share information or connect a third-party service.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share Google user data with third parties for advertising.
6. Data retention
We retain account and project information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete a project or page, published content and related versions are removed from active serving, and associated storage is deleted in the ordinary course of operation.
